"The Deceivers" sequel
Sneak Preview: Deceivers II
There were three women in James Dunlevy's life he would have counted as 'special'. First
there was Jennifer Williams, a fun loving girl who nevertheless chose her career over a
happy ending with James, and spent the next 30 years regretting it.
Then there was Sally Pettigrew, Jennifer's best friend, who caught James on the rebound
and made the most of it.
Thirdly, along came stunning model and half - Asian beauty, Loku, who openly indulged
James in his passion for smuggling items of rare beauty, while indulging her own
passions as James's lover.
Alas, James Dunlevy is dead - or is he? The man with the nickname 'Nine Lives Dunlevy,'
has acquired an incredible reputation for returning from the dead after escaping
seemingly impossible situations. But can even he survive the horrors bestowed upon him
as a result of getting caught after his most recent escapade?

"Hucknall and Bulwell Dispatch" News Article
The following news article was extracted form Hucknall and Bulwell Dispatch,
Nottingham, England, Friday August 25th, 2006, written by Reporter Matt Harris.
Ex-Hucknall man's worldwide publishing deal
A Former Hucknall man now living in the USA has had his first book published.
Drew Savage, who lived for 16 years on Salterford Road, Hucknall, and also spent
some time in Bulwell, has signed a book deal, which will see his mystery and romance
novel 'The Deceivers' published across the world.
Drew lives in Carlsbad, California and is the senior human resources professional for
a high tech company based in Los Angeles.
Once a pupil of Annie Holgate Junior School and The Holgate Comprehensive (formerly
Annie Holgate Technical Grammar School) in Hucknall, he went to work for Boots in
Nottingham for 22 years, first as a chemist before moving into human resources.
After switching jobs, he finally moved to California in 2001.
"Before now, all I had published were a few articles and letters in magazines and
newspapers," said Drew. "This news is still sinking in. I've started to write a
book several times in the past but only completed the first few chapters. Finally,
the time, material and motivation all came together at the right moment."
The book is set in Kent, where smugglers, drug runners and embezzlers mean nothing
is quite as it seems.
Drew wrote the story on the back of his interest in history, aviation, music and
travel but was helped by his family, including fiance Mel'isa, who was managing
editor and oversaw style and factual content.
The youngest of his two sons Matthew, who lives in Suffolk and is studying graphics
design, also helped inspire the design for the book's cover.
Drew added: "This is the breakthrough I have been seeking. I've already learned a
lot about the publishing process as a result and I've started two new novels. I wrote
'The Deceivers' with a sequel in mind and I also have a completely new idea."
